It's Halloween on this cold, dark, stormy um......day. Actually it's pretty nasty out. It's not raining at the moment, but it sure is threatening to. I'm trying to finish up Bean's ladybug costume. Actually, I might just leave it as is. I am lazy after all.
Tonight we're going trick or treating, even if it's raining, with Jessi and her kids. Booger's not going, but the rest of the kids are. If they start listening and finish their chores. Booger gets to stay downstairs with grandma (we live in an apartment above her, I'm sure it's super awesome fun for her to have 5 kids living above her) and help her give out candy. I'm sure he'll enjoy that.
So our awesome costumes this year are a devil by Vi, a bee by The Boy, a cat by Bug and a ladybug by Bean. Or Bug and Bean will switch. I'm not really too worried about who will wear what. I need to head out to some store so I can pick up red and black yarn to make a hat to go with the ladybug costume. I don't think a Lightening McQueen hat would match well. In preschooler land it might, actually.
I'm going as a snot-covered, yelling, anxiety-ridden monster. Oh wait, I'm just going as myself. I also get to hold the pillowcase for the kids to dump their candy bags into. Then I'll sort through all the candy tonight while watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's the only thing stopping me from throwing the tv out the window right now. Maybe tomorrow.
Tomorrow I'll be doing a review for My Blog Spark and Old El Paso tacos and their game El Tacodor. Probably a giveaway too, I'm just procrastinating on deciding today.
